Your product. A proper moment to be seen.

FirstLook.buzz is a live product discovery experiment. One product occupies the main showcase at a time. Bring your URL, review your generated showcase and set a private maximum to compete for the next takeover.

Win guaranteed time. Then keep holding at no extra cost until another product successfully takes over.

A focused showcase for what you have built

You have a working product and a URL. FirstLook gives it a dedicated main-stage presentation, with a screenshot, product identity, short explanation and a link to explore it.

You do not need an existing following to participate. Ownership is allocated through the published bidding rules, rather than internal upvotes or a popularity score.

FirstLook is early and its audience is still growing. We guarantee showcase time under the rules—not a minimum number of views, leads, customers or sales.

How to take the next FirstLook

1. Bring your URL

Paste your product’s website address. FirstLook builds a showcase from publicly available information. Review and correct the details before entering.

2. Choose your private maximum

Set the most you are willing to pay. FirstLook bids only as much as needed to keep you ahead, up to that limit. Your maximum stays private.

Your card is authorised for the maximum. If you win, you are charged the effective winning price rather than automatically paying your full maximum. Authorisations for unsuccessful bids are released; bank processing times can vary.

3. Win the stage

A successful takeover replaces the current product after its guaranteed period. Your product then receives its own guaranteed showcase time.

4. Keep holding

Once your guaranteed period ends, your showcase stays live at no extra cost until a successful takeover displaces it. Additional holding time is possible, not guaranteed.

What does a FirstLook cost?

The daily ladder opens at $5 and increases after successful takeovers. The next minimum shown on the live site is the amount to check before entering.

The market day resets at 09:00 GST (UTC+4). The next minimum resets to $5; the current holder stays on the stage until successfully displaced.

Your chosen maximum is a ceiling, not automatically your final price. Check the current minimum and payment details before authorising your card.

How long does the showcase last?

Slot periodGuaranteed showcase time
09:00–21:00 GST10 minutes

After that, continued holding is free until a successful takeover. There is no guaranteed amount of bonus hold.

Your guaranteed time ends. Your ownership doesn’t.

Is FirstLook right for your product?

It may be worth testing if:

  • Your product has a public website and a clear use case.
  • You want to try an additional discovery channel.
  • You understand the current audience is still developing.
  • You are comfortable measuring exposure separately from business outcomes.

If you need guaranteed leads, a fixed volume of traffic or a guaranteed return on spend, FirstLook does not offer those commitments.

See what happened during your run

FirstLook reports recorded showcase views and outbound clicks (“Visits sent”). Review them alongside activity on your own website.

A showcase view is not a unique person. An outbound click is not confirmation of arrival, sign-up or purchase. Counts can be affected by repeat activity, filtering and measurement limitations.

Questions before you take the stage

Do I need a large audience?

No existing following is required to participate. However, FirstLook does not guarantee a particular audience size for your run.

What happens if nobody takes over after me?

Your product keeps holding the showcase at no extra cost until a successful takeover. The daily price reset does not empty the stage.

Will I pay my entire private maximum?

Not automatically. It is your spending ceiling. The effective winning price depends on the valid competing bids and the published auction rules.

Is creating a showcase the same as buying one?

No. Review the generated showcase and the bid/payment terms before entering. A successful paid takeover is separate from preparing a showcase.

What happens if payment fails?

Under the auction rules, the next valid authorised bidder may inherit the takeover. If there is no valid successful takeover, the current holder remains.

Does FirstLook guarantee customers or growth?

No. The commitment is to showcase time under the published rules. Audience response and commercial outcomes are not guaranteed.

Are founding placements paid auction wins?

No. Complimentary founding placements are separate from commercial takeovers and should not be interpreted as paid bids or sales.
